Dan is the primary attorney with over 30 years of Intellectual Property (IP) experience specializing in patent preparation and prosecution. Dan is registered to practice before the US Patent & Trademark Office as well as the Colorado and Arizona bars. As patent prosecution is a federal practice, Dan enjoys the opportunity to represent clients around the country, engaging with an extended colleague network to support specific client requirements.

With a strong background in computer science, mechanical engineering and project management, Dan is well positioned to embrace a wide range of technologies and has drafted and prosecuted hundreds of patents in fields including mechanical, computer,electrical, optical arts, medical devices, diagnostic systems, and business methods. 

 Prior to establishing his boutique practice in 2009, Dan was a both a Partner and Of Counsel at two distinguished firms and served as general counsel and staff engineer with CenterGate Research Group.  This diverse experience provides knowledge of client valuesand concerns, whether large or small and allows him to  appreciate viewpoints from both the in-house and law firm perspectives.
